Welcome to the final day of our Letters and Riddles journey! If you’re just joining us and would like to catch up, you can start by clicking here. Be sure to do so before you scroll down any farther, especially if you want a chance to try your hand at the three riddles before seeing the answer below. Here, I’ll put in a little loopy swirl graphic to give your eyes a buffer as you step away and catch up. 😉

All caught up? Splendid! Carrying on, then…

It’s been such a delight to travel the last few days with you. By now, if you’ve solved the riddles from Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, you know that the mystery message is this:

Love that Surpasses.

…and you may be scratching your head, saying “Amanda. Let’s have a talk about complete sentences.”

🙂 I know. I used a fragment. My stomach is still a little bit queasy because of that.

…But what can I say? It’s Valentine’s day, and my greatest, dearest, closest-to-my-heart hope for you today is for you

That, my friends, is the love we can rest in today. The Love that gave all for us; the Love that surpasses knowledge. Unconstrained by circumstance, unconditional, undying. Isn’t it amazing?

Now, as a little parting gift to you, that image up there– the chalkboard art? That is a free printable for you. If you’d like to have a physical copy, you need only click on it, and then print the document that appears.

If you’d like to share it as an online Valentine with your friends and family, please feel free to do so. You can share it on…

You can also right-click on the image, save it to your computer, and have it for e-mailing, using as a desktop background, and more.

And last, but not least, there is the little matter of our envelope locket– so patiently waiting in its Etsy shop all the way around the world in Australia, eager to wing its way to its new home…

You so patiently put up with my rhyming, astutely de-coding each clue, and what a fun week it was! At least for me. Thank you for making it so. 🙂

I so wish I could send one of these lovely necklaces to each of you, with the letter tucked in with care… but what a joy to know you each have something far, far better– the love of Christ described in that verse.

The winner of the locket and letter, drawn from all the entries using random.org, is…

Carah Beck!

*Grin*. Carah happens to be wonderful (as EACH and every one of you are!) and I’m so excited for her. Thank you, Carah!! Expect a little package coming your way SOON!

And to each of you, thank you again for making this such a special week. As we live our day out today, my prayer is for the Love that surpasses to wrap you tight, hold you close, remind you that you are God’s treasure– the one He gave all for. Happy Valentine’s Day, friends!
