First Ever Guest Post…
…sort of.
Today’s blog post is brought to you by… my high school self.
That’s right, straight out of the pages of a pre-blogging-world journal, pages full of nothings and somethings, and yes- even then- word musings.
The word in question? Perfection.
Preface: I was a little…un-humble… in those days when it came to wanting to perform well. The Lord gently and faithfully humbled me and taught me that my worth lay in His love, not perfect records, grades, performances, etc. Until I learned that lesson, my self-imposed desire to perform perfectly posed a problem. Self-imposed is the key here– the ramblings about “expectations” below address my own expectations of myself.
